Davido Reveals how US Detectives Stormed His House, Searched everywhere when He first Bought It

Famous Nigerian singer, Davido had disclosed that United States detectives searched his entire house when he initially bought it.



Davido has explained that some detectives in u. s. came to look at his house when he first bought it.

In an interview with Channel Four, the ‘Fall’ singer said the detectives were suspicious of him due to the neighbourhood where he bought the house.

“I’m the {sole} African person in this neighbourhood, so I moved in, and 2 days later, detectives came to my door. They came in and searched the entire house asking ME what I do because I bought that house cash. I don’t authorities have a problem with it however it would be surprising,” he said.

“I won’t say it’s racism, that’s how they’ve been brainwashed. Living in America, you’re named to assume that Africa may be a no-go area. In Africa, we are brought up to think that these folks took everything from the US, so that are some things that we’ve to mend.”

The 26-year-old Afrobeats singer described entertainment as a grace for Africa saying: “that is that the only issue we can look at and smile.”

Davido said he would possibly get into politics or hang around the political circle.

“I might probably get into politics. If I’m not in it 100 percent, I might be around. There are tons of things going home that’s not right. If I used to be in this position, there are tons of things I’ll do otherwise.

“Being African is cool currently. It’s not only music; there are garments, food and the whole culture.

“I have the biggest record ever in America right now, an African record. Most of the record is broken English, I’m speaking in broken English they don’t even apprehend what I’m saying however it feels sensible.”
